Highfill Parks Advisory Committee Meeting – July 21

The City of Highfill Parks Advisory Committee (HPAC) will meet on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Highfill City Hall – Council Chambers.

HPAC reviews matters related to city parks, community events, and recreational opportunities. The committee provides recommendations to help the City of Highfill maintain and improve public spaces for residents and visitors.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.


Meeting Agenda Highlights

2026 City Events Review and Planning

HPAC will review the 2026 Freedom Fest event and discuss:

  • Event attendance
  • Community feedback
  • Recommendations for future improvements

The committee will also begin planning discussions for National Night Out and review ways HPAC can support the Highfill Police Department during the event.


Park Updates

HPAC will receive updates on current park projects and improvements, including:

  • Silver Meadows Park
  • The recently dedicated Old Drip Field property park

Park Maintenance Review

The committee will review park maintenance needs and provide recommendations to support the continued care and improvement of Highfill’s parks.


Staff Reports and Committee Discussion

Staff will provide updates related to the parks budget and other items affecting park operations. HPAC members will also discuss additional topics related to parks, events, and community improvements.
