About the City Council
The Highfill City Council serves as the city’s legislative body. Council members are responsible for:
- Adopting ordinances and resolutions
- Approving city budgets and expenditures
- Making land use and policy decisions
- Representing resident interests in city governance
Together with the Mayor and city staff, the Council shapes policies that promote responsible growth and quality of life for all residents.
Public Participation
Residents are encouraged to participate in City Council meetings. Each regular meeting includes a Public Comment section, where anyone may speak on topics on or off the agenda.

Agenda and Meeting Access
The City of Highfill posts meeting agendas and supporting documents in advance whenever available. Agendas are organized by meeting type and may include packets, ordinances, resolutions, maps, and other related materials.
The City generally posts agendas at least one week before the scheduled meeting; however, posting times may vary depending on meeting schedules and document availability.
Residents may attend public meetings in person or online through the City’s recurring Zoom meeting system.
