Planning Commission
The Planning Commission reviews development proposals and provides recommendations related to zoning, land use, and long-term community growth.
General Responsibilities:

Water & Sewer Committee
The Water and Sewer Committee assists in evaluating and supporting the planning, maintenance, and improvement of the city’s water and sewer systems and related infrastructure.
General Responsibilities:
- Review water and sewer system needs and upcoming projects
- Provide recommendations on infrastructure improvements
- Support long-term utility planning
- Attend scheduled committee meetings

Fire Department
The Highfill Fire Department is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving the community through fire protection and emergency response.
General Responsibilities:
- Assist with fire and emergency response efforts
- Participate in training and department activities
- Support community safety and prevention initiatives
- Maintain readiness and assist with department operations
