Highfill Highlights
Posted: July 9, 2026

The agenda for the Highfill City Council Regular Meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, has been updated to include an additional item under New Business.
Added Agenda Item
Resolution 2026-24 – A Resolution Declaring the City’s Intent to Issue Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds and Reimburse Certain Project Expenditures from Bond Proceeds.
What Does This Resolution Do?
This resolution does not authorize the issuance of bonds or approve construction.
Instead, it establishes the City’s official intent to pursue financing for future water system improvements and allows the City to reimburse eligible project expenses from future bond proceeds if bonds are issued. Taking this step helps preserve the City’s ability to seek financing while work on the project moves forward.
The proposed resolution identifies a maximum potential bond amount of up to $14 million for water system improvements and names the City’s proposed bond professionals for the financing process.
Residents are encouraged to review the updated meeting packet and attend the City Council meeting to stay informed about matters affecting the future of Highfill’s water infrastructure.
