The City of Highfill is seeking civic-minded residents to serve on the Highfill Parks Advisory Committee (HPAC).
Established by Ordinance No. 2023-06, the HPAC plays a vital role in shaping the community’s recreational and cultural life. Members organize city-wide events such.
🏛️ About the Committee
- Members: 5 voting members and 1 non-voting secretary
- Term: 3 years (staggered terms for initial appointments)
- Eligibility: Must be a qualified elector and resident of Highfill
- Compensation: Volunteer (unpaid)
- Expectations: Each member must assist in organizing at least 3 annual city events
🗓️ Meetings
- Held at least quarterly
- Open to the public and subject to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act
- Meeting times and locations are determined by the committee, with agendas posted in advance
