City Council Meeting Update – December 9, 2025

Please note that the rezoning item originally scheduled for tonight’s meeting has been moved to the January 13, 2026, City Council Meeting.
All other agenda items WILL proceed as planned this evening at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers.
Tonight’s City Council Agenda Includes:
- Presentation – Walton Family Foundation
- Recycling Partnership Grant – Resolution 2025-28 authorizing a grant agreement to support expanded recycling efforts
- State Aid Street Funding – Resolution 2025-29 expressing the City’s willingness to utilize state street monies
- Public Safety Equipment & Vehicles
- 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe purchase and equipment package
- Approval of Scott X3 Air Packs and related gear
- Acceptance of a quote for an FB-94 pumper fire truck
- Artificial Intelligence Policy – Resolution 2025-33 adopting the City’s AI and automated decision tools policy
- 2026 Budget Adoption – Resolution 2025-34 adopting the City’s budget for the upcoming year
The Council will also review the November 2025 financial reports and hear updates from Community Development, Fire, Parks Advisory, Police, and Public Works.
