  1. Officer Elections & Commissioner Replacements
  • Discussion:
    • It was noted that no new officers had been elected in 2025.
    • Commissioner Lloyd announced his resignation, stating that he is selling his property and will no longer be residing within the city limits.
    • The commission also discussed the extended absence of Commissioner Cordero, who has not attended meetings or communicated.
  • Actions Taken:
    • Motion to remove and replace Commissioner Cordero was made by Maier and seconded; approved unanimously
    • Chairman Elected: Don Nash (nominated by Commissioner Maier and seconded by Commissioner Maier, approved unanimously with Nash abstaining)
    • Vice Chair Elected: Megan Maier (nominated by Chairman Nash and seconded by Commissioner Lloyd, approved with Maier abstaining)
  • Next Steps:
    • Open positions will be filled by City Council appointment. The mayor will review current interest files and may post publicly to encourage applications.
