The City of Highfill is currently accepting letters of interest and applications to fill the position of City Recorder.
This is an essential role within city government, with responsibilities that include:
✅ Presiding over council meetings in the Mayor’s absence
✅ Serving as City Clerk and maintaining all official city records
✅ Attending and recording City Council and Planning Commission meetings and such other commissions, boards, departments, or committees of the city
✅ Supporting city operations and ensuring compliance with state and local laws
This is a four-year elected position in accordance with Arkansas state law, but the City is seeking to fill the position by appointment until the next general election.

Applicants must reside within the corporate limits of the City of Highfill.
