Highfill Highlights
February 25, 2026
The Highfill Planning Commission was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, to conduct regular business. However, due to a lack of quorum, the Planning Commission meeting could not be held. Because a quorum was not present, no official business was conducted, no minutes were approved, and no votes were taken.
Although the Planning Commission meeting could not proceed, the scheduled Public Input Meeting on the Land Use Map was held as planned.

Garver Presentation
Juliet Richey of Garver presented the proposed Land Use Map and provided an overview of how the draft map is intended serve as a long-term planning tool to guide Highfill’s future growth and development.
Following the presentation, residents in attendance shared questions, comments, and thoughtful feedback regarding future land use designations throughout the city. The discussion provided valuable community insight that will help shape revisions before the map moves forward for formal consideration by the Planning Commission. We appreciate the constructive discussion and the meaningful input provided.
We sincerely thank those who were able to attend and participate in the discussion. Community engagement plays an essential role in ensuring that Highfill’s future growth reflects the needs and vision of its residents.
